The Live ELC system was tested in 2024, and the results of the tests convinced the association to use technology to work instead of humans, except for the main chair umpire who will continue to be human.
The president of the association stated that evaluations were conducted in various aspects, concluding that technology is capable enough to replace humans and now is the appropriate time to implement this technology.
