Three Years Later: PC GTA V and GTA Online Players Upgrade Graphics and Features to Console Standards.

Three years after GTA V and GTA Online, the console versions have been upgraded to next-gen graphics for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar announced that GTA V on PC will also receive the same upgrades.

Players of GTA V will now be able to upgrade their graphics to support ray tracing, FSR1/FSR3/DLSS3, faster game file loading with DirectStorage, DualSense controller support on PC, top-notch anti-cheat system, and voice chat moderation to combat toxicity.

As for GTA Online, players can expect new content similar to the console version, including new cars, car upgrade features, encountering wildlife in the southern area of San Andreas, and the option to subscribe to the premium GTA+ package, which console players have enjoyed for the past 3 years.

The upgrades will be available for PC players starting on March 4, 2025. Minimum system requirements include a Core i7-4770/FX-9590 processor, 8GB RAM, GeForce 1630/Radeon 6400 GPU, and SSD storage. For those with older computers who still want to play GTA V/GTA Online, Rockstar will allow them to continue using the old game client, with separate servers to avoid any conflicts.

TLDR: GTA V and GTA Online are getting next-gen graphics upgrades for consoles and PC, with new content and features, including better graphics, faster loading times, and improved gameplay experience.
