Google Cloud has announced the launch of their AI model, Veo, for creating videos. This marks the first major cloud service offering video creation capabilities, although it is still in a closed beta phase.
Veo can generate videos from images and text, allowing for the creation of prototypes from the Imagen model before transitioning them into moving images. Currently, access to this service is restricted to authorized users, with Google specifying that Agoda utilizes AI tools such as Veo, Gemini, and Imagen to streamline their advertising processes.
In addition, Vertex AI has introduced Imagen 3 models with features for image manipulation, including inpainting, outpainting, object removal, and text-to-image integration like transforming clothing images to include models wearing them.
All images and videos produced will be embedded with SynthID watermarks to prevent malicious use, ensuring that user data will not be utilized for model training purposes.
