Despite these efforts, the company recognizes the need to adapt to market changes for long-term success. As a result, organizational restructuring in the Global Publishing and APAC departments will impact a total of 45 positions. Ubisoft is committed to providing full support to affected employees.

Looking back to November of last year, Ubisoft previously laid off 124 employees primarily based in Canada.

In terms of game releases, Ubisoft has launched two titles this year: the critically acclaimed Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and the AAAA-rated live service game Skull and Bones, which faced challenges during its launch.

Upcoming projects that Ubisoft is currently developing include Star Wars Outlaws, Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence, a remastered version of Beyond Good & Evil, and the highly anticipated Assassin’s Creed Infinity, which will serve as the central hub for the Assassin’s Creed series.
