It includes premium versions of games, DLC, and early access games. The price remains the same at $17.99 per month and is available on all platforms, including PC, Xbox, and Amazon Luna.
The second tier, Ubisoft+ Classic, is now priced at $7.99 per month and offers access to a selection of older games, like Far Cry 6. Currently available for PC, it also comes bundled with a PlayStation+ membership.
Philippe Tremblay, the head of Ubisoft+, revealed that the number of subscribers has been steadily increasing. By 2023, they expect a significant increase of 10% of subscribers who have never played Ubisoft games before. The subscription service allows gamers to discover new titles, while popular game series like Assassin’s Creed and Rainbow Six continue to be in high demand.
Tremblay also highlighted the diverse gaming behaviors among players. Some still prefer to purchase games outright, while others exclusively play through subscription services.
