In the latest issue of Bloomberg’s Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman reported that internal Apple surveys found ChatGPT to be 25% more accurate than Siri in answering questions. Additionally, when Apple employees were asked about their beliefs, they viewed the company as trailing behind other AI development leaders by at least two years. Gurman mentioned that while Apple employees may currently believe the company is lagging behind competitors, Apple remains confident in its strategy to eventually catch up. Apple also has plans for Apple Intelligence to run on all devices sold by 2026, with the upcoming entry-level iPad expected to support it next year.
