Reuters reported, citing sources familiar with the matter, that Broadcom is close to finalizing a deal to sell its End-user Computing (EUC) business to investment firm KKR for an estimated $3.8 billion. The deal is expected to be officially announced on Monday.
Previously, Broadcom had announced its intention to sell the EUC and VDI business, which is part of VMware, a company it acquired.
The report also mentioned that the EUC business unit was being auctioned, with KKR and several other investment firms, including EQT, participating in the bidding process.
