Mishaal Rahman from Android Authority has discovered a code in the Android 15 Beta version that may allow regular smartphones to use a Taskbar of modest size, similar to tablets and foldable smartphones. Users can access this function by swiping up from the bottom edge of the screen. Users can choose to keep the Taskbar visible at all times or have it automatically disappear. The Taskbar will consist of 4 application icons and a menu for accessing other applications, with the main purpose being multitasking.
It is worth noting that the Taskbar first became available in Android 12L (Android 12 Large for larger mobile screens and foldable screens), but the initial versions will be a full-screen Taskbar at the bottom of the device.
