Unveiling King of Meat: A Co-op Adventure Game by Amazon Games, combining cartoon-style exploration and daring quests.

Amazon Games has unveiled a new game called King of Meat developed by the studio Glowmade, founded by former Lionhead Studios team members. King of Meat is a vibrant and cooperative hack & slash game that can be played by 1-4 players, where they must overcome obstacles in dungeons filled with traps and monsters, using various moves to entertain spectators in the arena. Described by the gaming website VGC as a mix of Fall Guys and Diablo with levels resembling the “hilariously brutal” Takeshi’s Castle.

The game features over 100 challenging dungeons and is designed to support user-generated content (UGC). Players can design dungeons and share or sell them to others. The development team hopes that the Creator feature will be a selling point for the game’s longevity by continuously offering new content.

Glowmade is an independent studio based in the UK, established in 2015 by three former Lionhead employees. Previously, they worked on game development projects for other companies before creating King of Meat as their first independent game. Amazon Games takes on the role of distributor for King of Meat.

King of Meat will be available to play on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Nintendo Switch, with no announced release date yet.
