At last night’s GTC 2025 event, Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, unveiled the roadmap for upcoming product releases. On the GPU side, we can expect new releases every year. The highlight of this year’s 2025 lineup is the new GPU, Blackwell Ultra, which was introduced last night.
Moving on to 2026, we will see a new CPU named Vera paired with the new GPU, Rubin (named after the renowned astronomer, Vera Rubin). As for 2027, the GPU will be upgraded to Rubin Ultra as previously announced.
The latest information reveals that in 2028, we can anticipate the debut of the Feynman-coded GPU (named after physicist Richard Feynman), while the CPU will continue as Vera moving forward.
On the NVLink switch side, new releases are also slated annually. Currently at Gen 5 (2025), we can expect Gen 6 (2026), Gen 7 (2027), and Gen 8 (2028) in the upcoming years.
