Omnissa will provide virtual desktop software, Horizon, and endpoint management solutions, Workspace One, independently from VMware. With a workforce of 4,000 employees, Omnissa generates an annual revenue of $1.5 billion and serves 26,000 organizations. The former EUC business head at VMware, Shankar Iyer, who has over a decade of experience in this field at VMware, now serves as the CEO of Omnissa.
