3. BOOX Palma 2: A mobile phone with a 6.13-inch E-Ink Carta 1200 display with 300ppi resolution, weighing 170 grams. It has 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, and is available for order at $279.99.
The BOOX Firmware enhances AI capabilities for writing and note-taking, such as text selection, handwriting to text conversion, and drawing to geometry conversion. When it comes to Android, BOOX uses unique terminology, referring to it as “Open Android System” and claiming to support Google Play Store, although it is unclear if the BOOX Firmware is officially certified by Google.
