Upon scrutiny of the case involving Mr. Chayapol Sathondi, a member of the Bangkok Metropolitan Council from the People’s Party, the revelation of the military’s Information Operations (IO) maneuvers raises concerns today (March 25, 2568).
The People’s Party has divulged all documents used in the discussion to the public. These documents unveil the organizational structure of the Army’s Cyber Team, with various units tasked with distinct responsibilities, signed appointment orders for personnel, aggressive and defensive strategies, and a list of the Army’s IO pages disseminating information as per directives.
Aside from IO operations, the military’s attacks also touch on technology aspects. Noteworthy information includes the use of 256 Social Bots for automatic posting and sharing, primarily on Facebook. Currently, Cyber Attack methods involve Spamming, Reporting to suspend target accounts, Phishing through deceptive link sharing, and Brute Force attempts to crack passwords using personal data like birthdates, nicknames, or titles.
Development plans for new tools like Deep Fake, DDOS attacks, setting up fake Wi-Fi Access Points, and enhancing data models for feasibility assessments are outlined in the documents.
