Unveiling the HP OmniBook Ultra, featuring the cutting-edge Ryzen AI 300 chip with a powerful NPU boasting 55 TOPS.

HP has announced the launch of their latest notebook, the OmniBook Ultra 14, featuring the new Ryzen AI 300 chipset unveiled just last June. This powerful chipset comes equipped with an NPU boasting 55 TOPS, providing sufficient strength to run AI tasks on Windows akin to the Copilot+ PC using Snapdragon X Elite.

The HP OmniBook Ultra introduces a new model-naming system for their notebooks, positioning themselves as the pinnacle of the “OmniBook” series with the highest-tier “Ultra” model. Surpassing the OmniBook X launched in May, this model utilizes the Snapdragon X Elite chipset, sporting a similar overall look and design.

Specs include a Radeon 800M GPU, a 14″ 2240×1400 display, a 68 Whr battery lasting up to 21 hours, USB-C x2 ports, USB-A x1 port, and Thunderbolt 4 support (making it the first AMD notebook to feature Thunderbolt 4). Additionally, it is equipped with a high-resolution 9MP webcam.

The product is set to hit shelves in August 2024, starting at $1,449.99. Initially, it will not feature Copilot+ capabilities like its Qualcomm counterpart, but updates are promised in the future.

TLDR: HP unveils the OmniBook Ultra 14 notebook with Ryzen AI 300 chipset and powerful AI capabilities, along with top-tier specs and promising features for enhanced productivity.
