Last week, HP introduced the latest top-of-the-line convertible notebook in the consumer segment, the OmniBook Ultra Flip, formerly known as the HP Spectre x360. The OmniBook Ultra Flip is the pinnacle (Ultra) notebook in the consumer segment (OmniBook) and features a flip screen (Flip) higher than the original OmniBook Ultra notebook model that was previously launched.
Specifications of the OmniBook Ultra Flip include an Intel Core Ultra 200V Lunar Lake CPU (maxing out with the Core Ultra 7 258V), 16GB/32GB RAM, a 14″ 2.8K OLED display with HDR 500 nits and a refresh rate of 48-120Hz, 512GB/1TB/2TB SSD NVMe storage, USB Type-C 40 Gbps port supporting Thunderbolt 4 x2 + USB Type-C x1, a 9MP IR webcam, DTS:X sound system with 4 Quad Speakers, a 6-cell 64 Wh battery lasting up to 20 hours (measured with continuous video playback), and an optional Tilt Pen accessory.
The HP OmniBook Ultra Flip is now available for purchase on HP.com starting at $1,449.99.
Additionally, HP also unveiled the top-of-the-line secondary business notebook, the HP EliteBook X G1a (EliteBook = business, X = secondary to Ultra), featuring a 14″ display and a powerful Ryzen Pro CPU with NPU capabilities of 55 TOPS. This model is set to be released in December.
