Honor has unveiled the latest addition to their smartphone lineup, the Magic V Flip. This new model features a clamshell design with an external Always-On LTPO OLED display measuring 4 inches, offering a resolution of 1092×1200 and a high refresh rate of up to 120Hz, with a peak brightness of 1,600 nits.
When unfolded, the device reveals a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED FHD+ display with a 21:9 aspect ratio, also capable of a 120Hz refresh rate and reaching a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits, while supporting Dolby Vision.
Powering the Magic V Flip is the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and a maximum internal storage capacity of 1TB. The base model comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, along with a 50MP rear camera using the Sony IMX906 sensor and a 50MP front camera with the Sony IMX816 sensor, supporting autofocus. It runs on the MagicOS 8.0 operating system based on Android 14 and packs a 4,800 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
The Honor Magic V Flip comes in three color options: Iris Black, Camellia White, and Champagne Pink. Additionally, there is a special edition designed by the renowned designer Jimmy Choo in a green glittery tone.
Starting at 4,999 yuan, the base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is currently only available in China.
