Unveiling the Intel Core Ultra 200V with Xe 2 Graphics and AI Command Set

Intel has unveiled the Intel Core Ultra 200V CPU, codenamed Lunar Lake, designed for lightweight laptops. The key features include graphics and artificial intelligence capabilities, with a total system processing power of 120 TOPS.

The main highlight of the Core Ultra 200V is the Xe2 graphics with 8 cores, supporting 4K displays on three screens simultaneously. It also features the Intel Xe Matrix Extensions (Intel XMX) for accelerating AI workloads, delivering 67 TOPS of processing power. The P-core offers a 15% increase in processing power, while the energy-efficient E-core provides significant performance gains, reducing the need to switch to P-core.

Intel has not disclosed any sub-models yet, but over 80 PC manufacturers are gearing up to launch models soon. Some models are already available for pre-order and will officially go on sale on September 24.
