Capcom has announced the release of a new collection titled Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics, which brings together classic fighting games from the X-Men and Marvel series. The collection includes a total of 7 classic games:
– X-MEN CHILDREN OF THE ATOM
– MARVEL SUPER HEROES
– X-MEN VS. STREET FIGHTER
– MARVEL SUPER HEROES vs. STREET FIGHTER
– MARVEL vs. CAPCOM CLASH OF SUPER HEROES
– MARVEL vs. CAPCOM 2 New Age of Heroes
– THE PUNISHER
The bundled version also features additional content such as music, galleries, training modes, customizable button configurations, the ability to save/load from anywhere, and online play with netcode system and global rank integration. The anticipated release is slated for 2024 on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PC (Steam) platforms, with no Xbox release confirmed.
Prior to this, in 2022, Capcom released a similar classic fighting game collection titled Capcom Fighting Collection, which brought together games from the Vampire series and others.
