Apple has unveiled the new 24-inch iMac with the M4 chip, boasting a 1.7x increase in speed for everyday tasks compared to the previous M3 chip released last year.
The M4 chip in all configurations features a Neural Engine with 16 cores to support Apple Intelligence processing, with CPU-GPU starting at 8 cores and maxing out at 10 cores, 16GB of starting RAM expandable to 32GB, and 256GB of starting storage expandable to 2TB.
Other hardware upgrades include the 24-inch 4.5K display with the option for a nano-coating, a 12MP front camera with Center Stage support keeping the speaker in the center of the screen, Thunderbolt 4 ports on the higher-end model, and a choice of 7 colors – green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue, and silver – with more vibrant hues.
The iMac with the M4 chip starts at 44,900 Baht, with the release date in Thailand yet to be confirmed.
