Zhanjiang Technology, a Chinese computer company also known as Xinjuneng, has released a new portable computer (whether it can still be called a notebook or laptop remains uncertain) that comes equipped with a high-end AMD EPYC data center-grade CPU.
This model, named REV-9, boasts impressive specifications, with the centerpiece being the AMD EPYC 7713 or 9554 CPU featuring 64 cores. It also packs a top-tier desktop-grade graphics card, the GeForce RTX 4080 (which can potentially be upgraded to a 4080 SUPER upon release), and a 17.3″ 2.5K 240Hz display.
Due to the use of a high-heat server-grade CPU (350W), the REV-9 computer has a larger form factor, measuring at 420mm x 325mm x 46mm. As of now, there is no information available regarding its pricing.
This is not the first time Xinjuneng has released a machine with this design, as their previous website displays a similar design, albeit featuring the GeForce 3090 GPU.
