Unveiling the Samsung Galaxy S25: Powered by Snapdragon Chipset with Gemini Live Integration for Thai Language Support

Samsung has unveiled its latest smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S25, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset built on 3nm technology. This upgrade boasts a 40% NPU performance improvement, a 37% boost in CPU performance, and a 30% increase in GPU power, along with a larger Vapor Chamber that is 1.4 times bigger.

Blognone had the opportunity to review the Galaxy S25 and noted its focus on AI features, including a new personal assistant feature and the first-time support for Thai language on Gemini Live (fully available by February 7, 2025). Other upgraded features include enhanced search capabilities, language processing, and photo editing tools.

Image Search allows users to search anything on the screen with just a gesture, Music Search enables song searches by holding the home button and issuing commands to Gemini, and In-App Search allows for data and setting searches through voice commands. Additionally, features like Action Search, Homework Help, Best Face editing, Live Call Translation in 20 languages, On-device Transcript conversion, Now Brief information, and Now Bar notification checking were added.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra has upgraded its rear camera to a 50MP ultrawide lens from the previous 12MP, offering a 4x improvement in HDR video quality. The main camera remains at 200MP, with a 10MP telescope and a 50MP periscope lens unchanged in both the S25 and S25+ models.

New photography features include Virtual Aperture for light intake adjustment, Log Video for post-capture color and sharpness adjustments, Nightography Video for enhanced night footage quality, and Audio Eraser for audio manipulation in videos.

The Galaxy S25 and S25+ come in lightweight designs, weighing 164 grams and 190 grams respectively, with color options of Silver Shadow, Mint, Icyblue (S25 only), and Navy (S25+ only). Online-exclusive colors include Blueblack, Coralred, and Pinkgold.

The prices for the Galaxy S25 start at 29,900 Baht (12/256GB) and 34,900 Baht (12/512GB), while the Galaxy S25+ is priced at 36,900 Baht (12/256GB) and 41,900 Baht (12/512GB).

The Galaxy S25 Ultra features a larger 6.9-inch display, reduced weight of 218 grams, and color options of Titanium Black, Titanium Gray, Titanium Silverblue, Titanium Jetblack, Titanium Jadegreen, and Titanium Pinkgold. Storage options include 12/256GB at 46,900 Baht, 12/512GB at 52,900 Baht, and 12/1TB at 62,900 Baht.
