Xiaomi has announced the release of the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4, featuring a large 12.4-inch display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a resolution of 3K (3048×2032) in a 3:2 aspect ratio. This marks the company’s first tablet to run on the new Xiaomi HyperOS operating system.

The Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 boasts a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a 10000mAh battery with 120W fast charging, a 50MP rear camera, a 32MP front camera, Wi-Fi 7 support, 6 speakers with Dolby Atmos, storage options of 8GB+256GB or 12GB+512GB, and weighs 590 grams. It also comes with accessories such as the Xiaomi Focus Pen and the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro Touchpad Keyboard.

Noteworthy software features include the Home Screen+ which allows seamless connectivity with smartphones running HyperOS, enabling users to control their phone from the tablet screen. Cross-device Notes let users jot down notes on the tablet by snapping pictures with their phone. The Xiaomi Smart Hub integrates IoT devices within the Xiaomi ecosystem, while Tap to Share enables sharing of images and files with smartphones via NFC. Director mode in the Camera app turns the tablet into a monitor for capturing photos with the phone’s camera.

The starting price for the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 is 699 euros.
