Upcoming Starfield Update: Enhancing 3D Map, Adding 60fps Mode for Xbox Series X

Bethesda, the developer behind the game Starfield, has revealed details of a major update for the game set to release on May 15th. The update will include extensive gameplay improvements and new features to be added in the future. Some key highlights include a 3D map with important landmarks such as shops, mission locations, and more, all displayed in the game’s navigation system.

Players will have more customization options to enhance their gaming experience, like adjusting carry weight or difficulty levels with the addition of an Extreme difficulty setting. Ship interiors can now be customized with Outpost decorations on different planets in the game.

The New Game Plus mode allows players to customize attributes, change DNA, and alter their character’s appearance for a fresh gameplay experience. Additionally, the update introduces a 60fps mode, graphics-focused mode, and VRR support on Xbox Series X.

Bethesda has hinted at upcoming ground vehicles, new missions, and new areas to be added to the game in the future. However, details about the Shattered Space expansion, the game’s first major DLC set to release in late 2024, are still under wraps. PC players can now test the beta version of the game update on Steam Beta.
