On the other hand, the DGX Station is a large desktop computer featuring the GB300 chip and a whopping 784GB of memory, allowing for high-performance model execution. Similar to the DGX Spark, other computer manufacturers will also be producing the DGX Station, with availability expected within the year, though no specific timeline has been set.
NVIDIA’s decision to include larger memory sizes in desktop computers may be attributed to increased competition, notably from companies like Apple venturing into large-scale AI processing. Despite the impressive specifications of both models, pricing details have yet to be revealed, even though Project DIGITS initially hinted at a starting price of $3,000.
