Jamie Walker and Sefton Hill, the two founders of Rocksteady Studios under Warner Bros. Games, known for the acclaimed Batman: Arkham series, stepped down from the studio in 2022 to establish a new studio called Hundred Star Games in 2023, with no game releases yet.
Recent rumors from the gaming website eXputer suggest that Hundred Star’s upcoming game is a single-player action-adventure AAA title developed on Unreal Engine 5, sponsored by Xbox Game Studios. There is speculation that the game may be showcased or announced at the Xbox Game Showcase event on June 9.
Currently, Hundred Star lists around 100 employees on their website, with eXputer mentioning that over 20 former Rocksteady employees have joined the team. Meanwhile, Rocksteady’s latest release, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League in early 2024, failed to impress critics, receiving an average review score of just 59/100.
