The Elec website, focusing on semiconductor and electronic components in South Korea, reports that Intel has placed an order for the latest High NA EUV machine from ASML, with production scheduled to be completed by the first half of 2025. ASML manufactures 5-6 High NA EUV machines annually, and Intel has already reserved all 5 machines produced in 2024. On the other hand, Intel’s competitors Samsung and SK Hynix will have to wait until the second half of 2025 to receive their machines.
The High NA EUV machine is considered ASML’s latest chip manufacturing equipment, with a price tag of approximately 1.3 trillion baht per machine.

ASML’s High NA EUV system in Veldhoven recently achieved a milestone by printing the first-ever 10 nanometer dense lines. The imaging process followed the completion of coarse calibration for optics, sensors, and stages. The next steps involve optimizing the system for full performance and replicating these results in practical applications.
TLDR: Intel has ordered the latest High NA EUV machine from ASML, with production slated for completion by the first half of 2025. ASML’s cutting-edge technology is setting new industry standards.
