Mark Gurman of Bloomberg has additional details about iOS 18 in this week’s Power On newsletter. This time, it’s not about AI features but rather improvements to the user interface for the general public.
According to him, Settings will receive a new redesign, with a cleaner look and a reorganization of topics, placing the most frequently used items at the top, and improving search functionality. Additionally, the Control Center will be revamped with added music control widgets and a section for managing smart home devices.
Finally, regarding hardware, it was previously speculated that Apple might unveil some hardware at WWDC next week, such as an Apple TV. However, Gurman confirms that there will be no hardware announced at this year’s WWDC event.
