Bloomberg reports that Sony is developing a new portable gaming device that can play PS5 games, but this gaming device is still in the early stages and may take several more years to hit the market.
The portable gaming market is heating up again after being dominated by Nintendo for a long time. Recently, we are seeing more competition with the likes of Steam Deck and ROG Ally entering the market, while Xbox is also clear about developing a portable gaming device.
Sony has released the PlayStation Portal to capture this market, but it currently only supports remote play from the PS5 or the latest update that allows cloud gaming.
