Worrisome Growth: Arm’s Quarterly Report Shows 5% Surge in Total Revenue, Armv9 Demand on the Rise

Arm has reported its quarterly performance for the month of September 2024. Total revenue has increased by 5% from the same period last year to $844 million, with a net profit according to GAAP accounting of $107 million.

Rene Haas, CEO of Arm, stated that the demand for both Armv9 architecture and CSS platform remains higher than the company’s estimates. This has led to a growth in revenue outlook, with the AI trend being seen as an opportunity for Arm across cloud and edge levels.

Revenue from the royalty segment increased by 23% to $514 million, where Armv9 accounted for 25% of the total royalty revenue. However, sales revenue decreased by 15% to $330 million, in line with Arm’s projections based on backlogs and seasonal factors.
