This price point was highlighted by Lei Jun, the CEO of Xiaomi, who compared it favorably to the Tesla Model 3, which starts at 245,900 yuan in China. Jun mentioned that when comparing specifications, the SU7 outperforms the Model 3 by over 90%, with only a few areas trailing behind. He believes that within 3-5 years, the SU7 will be on par with the competition.

Xiaomi revealed that over 50,000 car orders were placed within the first 27 minutes of opening reservations, with deliveries set to begin in April. As for the SU7 Max, the top-of-the-line electric car from Xiaomi aimed to compete with the Porsche Taycan, it is priced at 299,900 yuan or 1.5 million baht.
