Increased Rocket Deliveries: SpaceX Expands Ambitious Starlink Satellite Deployment, Aiming for 12 Monthly Expeditions

Bill Gerstenmaier, SpaceX’s executive, has revealed that the company plans to launch rockets in the remaining two and a half months to achieve the maximum number of flights possible, in line with the goal of 100 launches this year. The upcoming plan for SpaceX also includes launching rockets with satellites for Starlink, at a rate of 12 flights per month in the next year. This totals to 144 flights, ensuring a sufficient number of satellites to support direct communication from satellites to ground devices without the need for signal reception dishes. Additionally, there are plans to upgrade these satellites. However, SpaceX has stated that they currently have no plans to provide voice and data communication services with devices before at least 2025, although they do plan to introduce a text messaging service next year.

TLDR: SpaceX aims to maximize rocket launches in the coming months, setting a target of 100 launches this year. They also plan to launch 144 rockets with Starlink satellites in the next year, ensuring ample satellite coverage for direct communication. However, voice and data services are not planned until at least 2025, but a text messaging service will be introduced next year.
