Microsoft Offers Free Online Course on Basic C# Programming with Certification

Microsoft has announced the launch of their online course, Foundational C# with Microsoft, in collaboration with freeCodeCamp. This course is completely free and provides a certification upon completion. It is designed for individuals who have no prior experience in C# programming.

The course covers the basics of coding, such as writing and running code, data types, variables, and methods, culminating in debugging code that runs in the console (no UI yet). Learners have access to a series of 35-hour video tutorials on Microsoft Learn, and the examination and certification are available on freeCodeCamp.
