Shutterstock Closes Additional Deals, Selling Licenses for Trend Models to Reka, an AI Company

Shutterstock has announced a multi-year collaboration with Reka, an AI LLM data fusion developer. Reka will have access to Shutterstock’s digital asset repository to train AI models.

In recent times, Shutterstock closed deals selling image and video licenses on its platform to major tech companies for AI work, including Meta, Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, and OpenAI.

According to unofficial reports from Bloomberg, Shutterstock made $104 million from selling licenses for AI training last year.
