Enhanced Connectivity: Threads Announces Support for Increased Data Sharing from Fediverse Connections.

Meta’s Threads platform has announced increased support for the Fediverse, focusing on text content. This direction was initially set by Threads.

Previously, Threads only supported displaying Likes and Replies from other platforms on the Fediverse, which could be seen directly in Threads posts, but only by the owner of the post. With this additional update, all users can now view Likes and Replies originating from the Fediverse on different posts, expanding network connections further.

Users must first connect their Threads account to the Fediverse before being able to utilize this feature.
