Riot Games has chosen iconic band Linkin Park to make a triumphant return after recruiting a new lead vocalist. This time, they will be performing the official anthem “Heavy Is The Crown” for the League of Legends Worlds 2024 competition.
With a stellar reputation in providing game soundtracks, Riot Games has a history of distributing free songs for streamers to use during gameplay. In the League of Legends Worlds 2023 event, they collaborated with girl group NewJeans for a memorable performance.
Linkin Park, known for their impactful music, is back with a new lead vocalist Emily Armstrong replacing the late Chester Bennington who passed away in 2017. Their song “Heavy Is The Crown” will be featured in the upcoming album “From Zero” set to be released in November.
Members of Linkin Park will also be featured in an animated version in the music video for the song.
