Blognone Celebrates Two Decades of Innovation and Influence in the Digital Landscape

Blognone, now celebrating its 20th anniversary, posted its first post on August 27, 2004 and has now surpassed the 20-year mark (some may wonder why we only posted on this exact anniversary day – simply put, we forgot).

Looking back over the past 20 years, it’s an unbelievably long period of time (we were born the same year as Facebook, also turning 20 in February). As one of the founders, I never imagined that we would have a website for this long. The initial idea was just for fun.

On the occasion of our 20th anniversary, I want to express my gratitude to everyone involved in this journey, including co-founder Lew and the entire team, both past and present.

Our parent company, Wongnai Media, has transformed into LINE MAN Wongnai, while expanding its business diversification. Despite branching out, the company continues to prioritize online media business as before.

From its inception 20 years ago, we have witnessed significant changes in the tech industry. What was once a niche industry has now evolved into a mainstream industry that influences other sectors significantly. Today, we can confidently say that tech has become a mainstream industry, with major global companies all becoming tech companies.

In the realm of online media, while it emerged later to disrupt traditional media, it has now become the main source of media. However, it too has evolved rapidly over time. We have seen the transition from the web era to social media, mobile, and video. Today, we talk about the creator economy, where everyone can create their own content. The issue now shifts from content scarcity to content overload, with viewers experiencing algorithm-driven content platforms taking over. The future of media as a business may not be as rosy as it once was.

Regardless of how much the world changes or how presentation formats evolve, Blognone’s mission remains the same – to explain the world’s movements driven by technology with the most accurate and in-depth technical principles possible.

Thank you for being with us for 20 years, and let’s move forward to the next year, the 21st.

TLDR: Blognone celebrates 20 years, reflecting on its journey and changes in the tech and online media industries, while remaining committed to explaining the world through technology.
