Enhanced Offline Experience: Spotify Introduces Continuous Music Playback in Offline Mode Without the Need for Manual Downloads

Spotify has introduced a new feature called Offline Backup to address the issue of users wanting to listen to music without downloading it beforehand and being unable to access the internet as usual, such as while on a flight.

Offline Backup works by downloading the most recently listened to songs into a queue similar to a cache, creating a playlist specifically for the user. This allows users to continue listening to music seamlessly even when offline, without the need to download the songs.

To use this feature, users need to activate the offline listening mode by going to Settings > Data Saving > Offline or Storage, and then enabling Offline Listening. This feature is available for both iOS and Android users worldwide who are subscribed to the Premium service.

TLDR: Spotify introduces Offline Backup feature, allowing users to listen to music offline without downloading, by creating a playlist of recently listened to songs. Available for Premium users on iOS and Android.
