Microsoft has introduced a small but interesting feature to the mobile version of Outlook on both Android and iOS. This feature called “minimize” reduces the size of the email composition window into a floating circular icon (similar to the usage of some chat apps like Messenger that support Bubble feature).
The advantage of minimizing the email composition window is that we can switch tasks to read content on other screens of Outlook, such as reading old emails for reference, checking the calendar to see if it’s available, and then returning to continue typing emails on the mobile.
This feature is currently available for Beta/Insider group users and will gradually be rolled out to stable group users in the future.
