Netflix announces $1 billion investment in content in Mexico over 4 years.

Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos has announced a $1 billion investment in content production in Mexico over a 4-year period. Sarandos revealed this investment after meeting with Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum, who stated that this funding will create numerous jobs within the entertainment industry, from production to tourism.

With successful Mexican content such as Club de Cuervos and Roma, which earned an Oscar nomination, Netflix will collaborate with Estudios Churubusco, a major Mexican studio, as part of this investment agreement.
