A Glimpse into the New Era? TCL Unveils Prototype Monitor in Dome-like Shape

TCL, a Chinese display manufacturer, unveiled a prototype gaming monitor at the DTC2023 event in China. This monitor features a dome-like design, meaning the screen is curved on both the top and bottom (unlike curved screens that curve from the left and right angles). TCL claims that this monitor will bring a new 3D gaming experience. As for other specifications, the monitor includes an OLED display, measures 31 inches in size, has a 4K resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate.

It is uncertain whether TCL will actually produce and sell this prototype monitor. However, if it does go into production, it is expected to be available in the second half of 2024.
