In an exciting announcement, Amazon has revealed its support for Passkey login to access user accounts. This new feature is initially available for browser usage and it is gradually being updated for iOS app users. Android users can also rejoice, as Amazon promises to make it available very soon.
With this announcement, Amazon becomes the latest major tech company to endorse Passkey, following in the footsteps of WhatsApp, Google, 1Password, TikTok, GitHub, and many more online services that have already declared their support for Passkey.
To enable Passkey for your Amazon account, simply navigate to “Your Account,” select “Login & Security,” and proceed to the “Set up” section.
