Sony and Guerilla Games have announced that they will be porting Horizon Forbidden West to PC, with a scheduled release in early 2024. This announcement comes alongside the Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition, which includes the main game and the Burning Shores expansion, as well as additional bonuses such as a digital soundtrack, digital art book, digital comic book, and in-game items. The Complete Edition will be available on PS5 first on October 6, 2023, while the PC version will only be sold as the Complete Edition next year, both on Steam and Epic Games.
The PC port is being developed by Nixxes Software, a company that Sony acquired in 2021 specifically to work on PC ports, following the company’s new policy of expanding beyond exclusive console releases and bringing their games to PC for additional revenue opportunities.
