Concealing Everyone’s Likes as Private: Only the Post Owner Can See Who Likes It

X or Twitter recently announced that the data of post likes from users will now be hidden as private, impacting everyone. This move is in place to safeguard privacy.

Previously, X confirmed the news about hiding likes, originally only for X Premium customers, but now it will apply to all users.

After the likes are made private, the following changes will occur:

– Users can still see which posts they have liked.
– The like count will still be visible on their posts and in notifications.
– Users will no longer be able to see who has liked posts.
– Post owners will still be able to see who has liked their posts.
