Cortana Feature Stripped Off Successfully: Windows 11 Insider Update

Microsoft has released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25967 (Canary Channel), featuring a significant change of permanently removing the Cortana feature. In June 2023, Microsoft announced their decision to stop supporting Cortana on the Windows operating system and instead introduce Windows Copilot as its replacement. It’s worth noting that Cortana on mobile devices has already ceased development since 2020.

Among other new features in this build is a revamped layout of the Settings app. The homepage now presents commonly used settings in a two-column format right from the start.

The Quick Settings on the taskbar now supports more than six configurable buttons, indicating that the screen can be scrolled for additional options.
