Blizzard has unveiled details of the first expansion for Diablo IV, Vessel of Hatred, which will be available to play on October 8, 2024.
The new class, Spiritborn Forestkeeper, currently only has preview images available, with abilities yet to be revealed. Stay tuned for more information on July 14.
Set in the Nahantu region, a dense jungle previously seen in Diablo II, this installment follows the story of Neyrelle, who has transformed into the “Vessel of Hatred.” She has disappeared into the Nahantu jungle, and players must venture out to find her and unravel the mysterious plans of Mephisto.
Introducing a new feature called Mercenaries, where hired warriors join players in battle as part of a team, alongside the first-ever PvE End-Game Co-Op mode in the series.
In addition to the main game, Diablo IV will introduce a new feature called “pets,” with the base game featuring dogs as pets. However, pre-ordering Vessel of Hatred will grant players pets in the form of tigers or panthers.
