Enhance Your Web Journey: Explore Facebook’s Novel Link Historiography Feature – A Choice of Inception Recording in Link Traversing

Facebook’s mobile application has announced a new feature called “Link History” that is currently only available on iPhones and Android devices. Meta, the parent company of Facebook, has stated that this feature is gradually being rolled out to users worldwide, so not everyone may see it at the moment.

As the name suggests, Link History is a feature that showcases the browsing history of links accessed within the in-app browser. It keeps track of this data for up to 30 days.

By default, this feature is enabled for users who have already received the update. However, users have the option to opt-out and disable the collection of their link history. To do this, simply tap the three-dot icon, go to the browser settings within the app, and then toggle off the “Allow link history” option. Users can always re-enable it if desired.

It’s important to note that, currently, this link history feature does not apply to links opened through Facebook Messenger.

It tracks and displays users’ browsing history within the in-app browser, storing the data for up to 30 days. Users have the choice to disable this feature if preferred.
