The largest fighting game tournament, EVO (short for Evolution), has announced the upcoming EVO 2024 event. Spanning from July 19th to 21st, the event will take place in Las Vegas, United States. This year’s competition will feature a mix of both classic and new games.

Among the announced titles, Tekken 8, Mortal Kombat 1, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, and Under Night In-Birth II are the new additions. As for Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, it returns to the tournament to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the iconic EVO Moment 37 (the legendary Daigo versus Justin battle in EVO 2004), which is quite fitting.
