Microsoft has announced the expansion of the Rewards with Xbox program, allowing players to earn points by playing games not only on the Xbox console but also on PC through Game Pass. Players who subscribe to PC Game Pass will receive quests to complete tasks to accumulate points. These quests will be visible on the Xbox app on Windows PCs, mobile devices, and Xbox consoles.
Examples of Game Pass Quests added as part of the expanded program include:
– Daily Play: Earn 10 points for playing any game on Game Pass for 15 minutes
– Weekly Streaks: Play games on Game Pass for at least 5 days a week to earn increasingly more points for consecutive gameplay over multiple weeks
– Monthly 4-Pack: Get additional points for playing any 4 games on Game Pass for 15 minutes each in a given month
– Monthly 8-Pack: Receive extra points for playing any 8 games on Game Pass for 15 minutes each in a given month
A significant change is that accumulating points through gameplay is now only available for players aged 18 and above. Points previously accumulated by players under 18 will remain valid and can still be earned through purchasing games licensed by parents on the Microsoft Store or other non-gaming activities like searching the web with Bing.
However, players can only accumulate points in countries where they can participate in the Rewards with Xbox program. While Thailand has PC Game Pass available for subscription and accumulation of points on Microsoft Rewards, participation in the Rewards with Xbox program is still pending.

TLDR: Microsoft expands Rewards with Xbox program to include points for playing games on PC through Game Pass, with new quests and point-earning opportunities, but participation varies by country.
