Global Launch of Pandoland, the Mobile Game by Game Freak, Now Available Worldwide, Previously Only in Japan.

Everyone knows Game Freak as the studio behind the main Pokemon games, but in reality, Game Freak has other games that are not Pokemon and are not distributed by Nintendo.

Most recently, Pandoland, a mobile game developed by Game Freak in collaboration with the Japanese studio Wonder Planet, was launched in Japan at the end of 2024 and has since expanded its services globally.

Described as a Casual Adventure RPG, Pandoland is an action-adventure game where players explore the world from a top-down perspective. The game features a vibrant cartoon art style and focuses on open-world exploration, uncovering hidden treasures in various locations. Players can navigate both on land and in water, with online gameplay options including co-op and PvP modes.

Pandoland is free-to-play and generates revenue through microtransactions, with the Japanese version also including a random rare character system as standard.

In addition to Pandoland, Game Freak also has a new game project called Project Bloom in collaboration with Private Division, but details regarding its release date and platform are yet to be announced.
