Google launches Google Workspace for organizational accounts, offering Gemini app on mobile devices.

Google has now made Google Workspace available to customers with organizational and educational institution accounts, rather than personal accounts. This means that they can download and use the Gemini app on both Android and iOS devices.

In terms of features, the mobile version of the Gemini app doesn’t differ much from the version used for personal accounts. It’s also unrelated to the web version of Gemini that organizational accounts have been using.

Google states that using Gemini within an organization will adhere to enterprise data protection conditions as usual. Additionally, organization admins can block the installation of Gemini on mobile devices just like they would with any other app.
